Strengthen Body | Warrior Poses

Introduction video on Yoga Warrior poses.

Build Strength with Yoga Warrior Poses

Every time I practice a Warrior pose I feel more empowered in my mind and stronger in the body. This is why I love to practice and teach the Warrior poses. They are perfect for anyone over 50 or beginners.

I learn how to connect my whole body with breath and mind. The Warrior Yoga poses have so many benefits for all ages, and I always included modifications for new yoga students.

What do we learn in Warrior poses?

We learn how to build a strong foundation with the feet, strengthen the legs, knees, ankles, back, and core. We also learn how to be more aware of our mental and physical health. The warrior poses will help you shape your legs and hips and strengthen your bones, to reduce osteoporosis.

The Warrior Yoga poses help us build courage, confidence, resilience, and determination and all these qualities you need to tackle life’s challenges and help us reach our goals.

There are 5 main Warrior Yoga poses I teach in my live stream Yoga classes, and we add variations to help stretch, strengthen and shape up the whole body.

I always include warrior poses in my live online classes as I know it benefits all my students. One of the biggest virtues we learn is Courage, which helps us to try new things in life, get out of our comfort zones and let go of our fears. When we build more courage, we have more confidence. Our confidence grows when courage grows.

So, If you ever feel nervous, anxious, uncertain, or lack confidence then maybe it’s time to start practicing more Warrior yoga poses to build your inner strength.

During July, I’m teaching all the main 5 Warrior poses and variations to help with courage and strength in the body.
