I have created five simple and effective seated Pilates exercises you can do at home anytime with the resistance band. These Pilates exercises are all on the floor and have no weight on the knees or shoulders. You will strengthen and sculpt your core, buttocks, back, and arms with these easy and safe Pilates exercises.

The Pilates exercise resistance bands come in many levels and I’m demonstrating with a strong black band. You can hold the band so the resistance is easier or stronger.

Before you begin, just a reminder to engage your core correctly, you need to draw the navel towards the spine and gently squeeze the pelvic floor muscle. Always focus on your slow mindful diaphragm breathing. Always consult your doctor or health professional before starting any new exercise.
